Bret Boyd | Owner | MetroEast Motorsports

Bret Boyd

Owner

Born in Corsicana, Texas. 40 miles south of Dallas. Yes, I am a Cowboys fan. I've raced motorcycles my whole life and have a passion for the industry. Jumped at the opportunity to own our own powersports dealership. For 14 years I ran two of the largest Ford and Chevy dealerships and for the last 17 years, we have owned 3 Allstate agencies. Working for the agency gives me the ability to help customers in all areas. I love taking road trips on our 4 Indian motorcycles, coaching football, baseball, and basketball, being involved in our charitable events, and being active in our church. The best thing about owning this business is watching our team develop, getting the new 20,000 sq ft addition built, and building relationships with the current and new customers.

LaDonna Boyd

Co-Owner

From Belleville, Illinois. Co-Owned Allstate Boyd Agency for 17 years. We purchased Metroeast Motorsports January 1st, 2016. I do the accounting and payroll for everyone. I enjoy spending time with my family and love cooking. Completed 4 full marathons and 7 half marathons, also have been riding motorcycles for 5 years. I enjoy talking to customers and asking about what type of motorcycle they ride. I am building a women's gear section and am promoting women's riding and safety. We own 1 Amazon Parrot "Bella" and 1 Macaw "Scooter" and 3 fur pups.

I am from Jerseyville, Illinois. I've worked a variety of places, acquiring dealership experience in Arlington, Texas. GO COWBOYS! I also have a background in accounting. My job here is machines - financing, inventory, registering, selling, titling or trading; accounts payables & receivables; sales leads and whatever needs to be done. I like to read, spend time with my family and watch sports. I'm kind of quiet. I love the family atmosphere I work in. We're a great team!

Was born in Boca Raton, Florida but raised in Collinsville, Illinois. Ever since I moved here, I have hung around this shop. From washing bikes to riding my own dirtbike in the field, this has been a big part of my life. I bring a big sense of knowledge with race bikes and dirt bikes. I can also pop start ANYTHING with 2 wheels and a clutch. I am also a professional flat track racer. I travel the country with my mom and brother living the racers dream. I love being around 2 wheels all day every day. Not a fan of quads.

Brenna Boyd

E-Commerce & Inventory Specialist

Born and raised in Collinsville, IL. I'm the boss's daughter. I've been around this shop since I was a little girl. I grew up riding my Yamaha pw50 around BET, watching my dad and brothers win their trophies. I'll always have a special place in my heart for this industry. My job here is updating all of our social media advertising, merchandising, checking in and out unit inventory, miscellaneous office work, and whatever needs to be done. My main goal is to keep our customers happy and smiling. I want our customers to feel that they can come in here just to hang out with us and have a comfortable environment they can come into rather than them just coming in to spend their money. I love to paint, draw, and snuggle with my puppies in my spare time. Overall, I just love coming to work. I'm so thankful to work in a business where we all know how to push each other's buttons and not only work as great coworkers but as a family as well. I couldn't be more blessed to be on this journey to success with my family.
